St. Basil the Great on hesychia

We must try to keep the mind in tranquillity (εν ησυχια). For just as the eye which constantly shifts its gaze, now turning to the right or to the left, now incessantly peering up and down, cannot see distinctly what lies before it, but the sight must be fixed firmly on the object in view if one would make hsi vision of it clear, so too man's mind when distracted by his countless worldly cares cannot focus itself distinctly on the truth.

The Greek in this post shows up beautifully, albeit without accents. What font are you using please?

John (my son) told me about using language support in Windows. Now, if only I could get the diacritical marks... :-)

Okay, so how about sharing with us HOW you did it? I looked up language support in Windows and tried what I thought they said, but no good.

What did YOU do, pretty please?

In Win XP, go to Control Panel, then click on Regional & Language. It's all in there, I think...
