The title of this blog is taken from Fr. Pavel Florensky's great work on Orthodoxy, The Pillar and Ground of the Truth, which in turn comes from St. Paul's words about the Church. I claim neither brilliance nor originality for anything I write here, and humbly submit it all, as a foolish and unworthy priest, to the judgment of the Church.
Some of what I have to say will be reflections on Orthodox texts and experiences. Some of what I have to say will discuss the Church in her relationship to the world and to various confessions.
I welcome comments from Orthodox and non-Orthodox; I ask only that posters use their own name, and that they refrain from ad hominem attacks.
